Secondary Education (SEED) Minor

Ecology and Conservation Biology (ECCB) majors may complement their degree with an aggieTEACH SEED Minor which provides teacher certification after passing the certification exam to Texas A&M University undergraduates interested in teaching middle school science or high school life science. Students who graduate with an ECCB major and a SEED minor will potentially begin teaching with full pay and benefits within a few months of graduation. The SEED Minor requires 18 hours plus one semester of clinical teaching in addition to completing the coursework in the ECCB major.

This minor is for ECCB majors only. Students must complete the minor coursework and the field plan to qualified to take the teacher certification exam.
