Professional Summary
Dohee joined ECCB in the summer of 2020 as a Ph.D. student under the supervision of Dr. Asko Noormets. Her research focuses on understanding carbon allocation in forest ecosystems. She’s currently conducting on-field measurements of isotopic flux partitioning in a shortleaf pine forest in East Texas. Her work investigates the connection between plant cellular physiology and environmental fluxes, with a particular emphasis on the role of non-structural carbohydrates in plant carbon allocation dynamics. In her free time, Dohee enjoys cooking, baking, crocheting, and cuddling with her adorable cat, Usami!
